How gifts are handled.

How to give

Gifts are arranged directly with the trustees. This site has no card form and nobody collects money for us door to door or by phone. If anyone asks you for money in the name of Astha Foundation in a way that seems wrong, please do not pay and tell us.

What happens to your gift

• You choose a project. Your gift is used for that project.
• If a project is over-funded or cannot go ahead, we ask you whether to move your gift to another project or return it.
• You receive a receipt by email, with the tax certificate that applies to your gift.
• Your gift is recorded by amount and date. Your name is shown only if you ask for that.

Refunds

If you give by mistake, or change your mind within 14 days, write to us and we will return the full amount.

Gifts from outside India

These can be accepted only after the foundation holds FCRA registration, which will be shown on the transparency page.
